Muh Rong has more than 29 years working experience in law and investment banking, covering corporate finance, corporate restructuring, financial re-engineering, structured financing, strategic business planning, business model development, design and development of portfolio strategy for various assets. Muh Rong also has a wide range of experience in several advisory and consulting entities. She was a senior management team member in Newfields Advisory Sdn Bhd from 2002 to 2008, consultant in PwC Consulting Malaysia Sdn Bhd from 2001 to 2002, and a key member of the corporate services division of Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad (Danaharta) from 1999 to 2001. Prior to joining Danaharta, Muh Rong worked in the corporate finance department of AmInvestment Bank Berhad (AmInvestment). Muh Rong was called to the bar in 1996 and was practising law for a few years before joining AmInvestment.
Muh Rong holds a B. Comm and a First-class honours in L.L.B. from the University of Western Australia. She was the Butterworth Prize Winner (1995) for the best student in Procedures, and also won the Herbert H. Wheatley Memorial Prize in Commercial Law (1995) for the best student in Commercial Law. In 1996, she was called to the High Court of Malaya as Advocate & Solicitor. She obtained her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2002 and in subsequent year, she obtained her registration as a qualified Chartered Accountant by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)
Muh Rong originates ideas and creates value for clients through innovative structuring and strategic creative thinking. She ensures overall quality assurance of work performed by staff and project managed execution of projects / assignments. Muh Rong also has extensive experience in the areas of valuation and corporate finance and was involved in the financial and operational implementation and project management of numerous business and operational issues in the capital market relating to equities, derivatives and bonds. She has participated in the formulation of various strategic and enterprise restructuring and operational management and built deep knowledge of the business issues covering various cross sectors, which includes but not limited to telecommunication, real estate & constructions, energy, plantation, gaming, information technology and oil & gas.
Muh Rong is the elected Chairman of the Association of Corporate Finance Advisers (ACFA) for the 2025–2027 term, having previously served as its first Secretary and as one of its founding members since 2017. Muh Rong is a prominent advocate for reforms in the LEAP Market. She regularly shares her insights and contributes her perspectives on capital market developments and policy issues through major media platforms.

Mun Yee is a licensed CMSRL holder as sanctioned by the SC. She graduated from University Putra Malaysia with Bachelor of Accountancy in 2006 and has become a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants in 2009. She joined BDO Binder as an audit associate for two years and left the firm in 2008. During her tenure with BDO Binder, Mun Yee has been involved in various audit assignments for medium and large corporations, as well as public listed companies, which principally engaging in retails and services, manufacturing and property development. Mun Yee’s primary responsibilities in ASTRAMINA ADVISORY include project management, financial valuation and modelling, business strategic analysis and research. |
Lewy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Finance and Economics. Prior to joining ASTRAMINA ADVISORY, she gained over eight years of professional experience in corporate finance, investment evaluation and management, fundraising, investor relations, and credit analysis through her tenure with a Bursa Malaysia-listed group and a regional banking institution. Lewy’s primary responsibilities in ASTRAMINA ADVISORY include project management, financial valuation and modelling, business strategic analysis and research. |
